Bemerkungen
- Posterior crossbite and anterior open bite are difficult conditions to treat even with fixed appliances and using temporary anchorage devices
- We were able to correct the horizontal skeletal discrepancy of the upper posterior cross-bite with palatal expansion and then we used Invisalign to correct the anterior open bite
- Patient compliance was also important to achieve a good result, so we focussed on wearing elastics and oral hygiene reinforcement
- The treatment goals were met and our patient is very happy with her new smile
- Invisalign treatment offers a reliable and efficient technique, which can benefit all clinical practices
