Comentarios
- All third molars were extracted 2 weeks before the first aligner was installed, although the impression were taken with the third molars in place
- The client started using full time Class II elastics (in hooks cut by me on the aligners) from aligner 2 until the last one, with full Class II correction in this set of aligners
- Tooth #35 rotated almost completely in the first set of aligners
- Minor corrections were needed with additional aligners to improve overbite, final correction of mid-line and a better alignment of upper anterior
- The key to the success of this treatment was the late extraction of the third molars just before the beginning of using the first aligners, and full time use of Class II 1/4" elastics throughout the first set of aligners
