- I used semi-sequential distalization 50% to correct the class 2 bite on the left side.
- Reinforced the anchorage by placing palatal attachments on upper central incisors. Also, I used the class II elastics to help the aligner do the required full class distalization.
- Regarding severe rotation of UR2 I used careful staging of movements + incorporating proclination with half-derotation mesial-out and then combined retrusion with distal-in rotation. That way I increased the predictability of a severe rotation.
- After the whole left quadrant settled into a full class I continued with retrusion of the upper incisors and canines back and to the left in order to correct the upper midline to meet the lower midline. At the same time, I included the expansion of molars and premolars which biomechanically enhanced the retrusion and increased predictability.
