- We distalized the upper teeth with the use of Class II elastics
- Upper and lower arches were expanded
- IPR was performed on lower, to help resolve crowding and correct premolars rotations
- We extruded upper and lower teeth to close the bite
- I chose not not to correct the lower midline for the following reasons:
- The upper midline follows the facial midline
- The lower dental midline deviates 0.7 mm to the right side, but is not exposed in facial repose and smile photos
- a Solid class I occlusion was achieved in both canine and molar region '
- a Good OJ and OB was achieved in the anterior area
- No aesthetic or functional reason was found for lower midline correction
- The patient was highly satisfied with her treatment results
