- I achieved the necessary space to align both dental arches with control expansion on the lateral segments.
- I used an anchorage to assist the expansion of the last molars on both upper and lower arches.
- I slightly constricted them with added lingual root torque on the lower molars, which made more predictable the expansion mesial of the last molars.
- The expansion was done mainly by applying buccal crown torque on canines, premolars, and first molars, which helped me to avoid bodily extensions that could lead to unwanted gum recessions.
- IPR was done on the lower front teeth to compensate the Bolton discrepant, which resulted from two premolar extractions on the upper arch and one on the lower arch.
- Cls II elastics were used to achieve good interdigitation on the lateral segments.
