Treatment planning
- This 39-year-old female received multiple failed bone augmentation and implant therapy at another dental clinic.
- Lower right second molar contained extensive and unrestorable caries.
- After taking CBCT and careful examination, the treatment plan was decided.
- The treatment plan was tooth #47 extracted and delayed implant placement.
Appt 1: Tooth #47 was extracted. The extraction socket was cautiously degranulated. No bone graft or membrane was applied because of the luxury of the existing bone.
Appt 2: After three months of healing, 4 x 12mm fixture was placed in a routine manner.
Appt 3: Three months later, digital scanning and impression were performed with iTero oral scanning system. The data was sent to the lab and implanted supported crown was fabricated.
Appt 4: Screw-type single implanted supported crown was delivered ten days later.
Yorumlar
Digital impression for implant supported crown with iTero is a mature and reliable procedure. Comparing to the convention way, it's less time consuming and more accurate
