- The non-protocol choice for the use of Mandibular advancement in such a young case was made for the following reasons:
- The normalization of the overjet is desirable and precautionary for dental trauma and represented the request of the patient's parents
- The vertical control obtained increased the chances of functional balance by facilitating jaw growth in a counterclockwise rotation
- The correction of structural asymmetry was facilitated with the use of MA Precision wings which made it possible to create asymmetric jumps
