Comments
- We planned to extract the third molars in the upper arch to create space for the distalization of the other molars, in order to change the molar relationship into Class I.
- Class II elastics were used in all stages of the treatment to offer anchorage for upper distalization.
- To correct the dental class II relationship, we distalized the upper molars to simultaneously correct the molar crossbite (17 27 37 47).
- The overbite was solved with anterior intrusion and the projection of the canines inferiors helped in the correction of the relation of canine class.
- The third molars in the lower arch were extracted as well for better posterior stability and predictability of the arch expansion.
