Comments
- This is a Class III spacing case.
- When we close all lower anterior spaces, the negative overjet (aka anterior crossbite) will be resolved.
- But according to the very thin symphysis, retraction of lower anterior teeth needs to be done carefully to prevent labial tipping of the root that causes dehiscence.
- The power ridge feature of the Invisalign system is very effective to control root torque during retraction of lower anterior teeth.
- We could notice that only lower incisors crowns were retracted while the roots were still in the bone.
