Comments
- All 8s extracted before invisalign treatment
- Crowding was solved with expansion of upper and lower jaw. Space was created for 1.2 and upper midline was corrected with the expansion of maxilla.
- Empty vertical rectangular attachments were placed on 4.6 and 3.6's occlusal surface to open the bite and solve the crossbite of 1.2
- To reduce the amount of IPR and correct midline on lower jaw, 1mm distalization was performed on lower right segment (without using any intra-oral elastics)
- At the end of the treatment teeth whitening, laser gingivectomy on 2.2 and 1.2 and removal of mamelons (1.2, 1.1, 2.1, 2.2) were performed..
- This is an interesting case to show that we can plan more conservative treatment plans for our patients; using small amount of distalization instead of heavy IPRs
