Comments
- A patient with insufficient eruption space for permanent teeth and Class II malocclusion performed excellent treatment results with Invisalign First including arch expansion and the alignment was performed simultaneously.
- In addition, proper overjet and overbite were achieved too. For too narrow space for 1.2,2.2 delayed eruption tooth for a long time, EC for 1.2, 2.2 was excellent and allowed a correct eruption of this tooth during active treatment.
- Optimized expansion support attachment, and optimized support attachment on upper laterals allowed good alignment of the aligners throughout the treatment, and for posterior stable occlusion, it promoted using optimized extrusion attachment.
- Moreover, arch expansion was performed perfectly as in the initial treatment plan due to the efficient use of the optimized expansion attachment with the patient's good wearing coordination.
- Upper molar distalization was accomplished to improve overjet and near the end of treatment, extraction of tooth 8.3 was allowed.
- This was a phase I treatment which will be continued with a phase II in the future with permanent dentition.
- Invisalign First allowed fabulous results for phase I treatment which satisfied the patient and his parents.
