Comments
- There were a few skeletal abnormalities, but the arch length discrepancy was large with severe crowding.
- The gingival biotype was also thin, and it was determined that it would be difficult to expand the arch and align the teeth without premolar extraction. Otherwise, the risk of gingival recession would be high.
- Regarding the molar relationship, 1.4 teeth were extracted on the left side and finished Angle Class II, while the left side was kept in Angle Class I.
- The canine relationship achieved was Class I bilaterally.
- The midline was matched, the smile line greatly improved, and tight occlusion was achieved throughout the whole arch.
