Comments
- Arch expansion was the primary mode of gaining space. The aligner clearance was good enough to disclude the teeth during crossbite correction.
- The patient was instructed to wear the aligners while eating during the crossbite correction.
- The deciduous teeth shed in between the first round of aligners. Hence the second round was required to finish Phase 1.
- The second phase began nearly 2 years later. Here again, expansion was achieved along with IPR in the anterior teeth to have stable contacts.
- Vivera retainers (3 sets) were given to ensure the continued stability of the teeth.
