Comments
- Achievement of proper Class I buccal relationship with concurrent improvement of the overjet was achieved by sequential distalization of the upper posterior segments.
- Class II elastics was worn throughout treatment for anchorage during distalization and also for enhancement of the buccal occlusion through the elastics effect.
- Intrusion of the lower anterior segment was achieved through relative intrusion by a combination proclination and intrusion of the lower incisors.
- Proclining the lower incisors also helped to expand the arch for relieve of crowding and subsequent improvement of alignment of the teeth.
