Comments
- Button cut outs on the first molars and precision cuts on the upper canines were used to help distalization with medium force
- Class II elastics
- The patient was in a stage of growth.
- The Class II correction could be achieved with molar distalization as well as a component of forward mandibular growth as seen in cephalometric improvement.
- Additional aligners were requested 3 months down treatment because the aligner at Stage 7 wasn't fitting well on the posterior teeth. However we realized that the subsequent pair of aligners (Stage 8) were fitting well.
- After that continued with the same set of aligners and Additional aligners were no longer needed
- The restorative dentist finished the case with building up the fractured 2.1
