Treatment planning

Appointment 1 (Post-Implant Surgery):

  • The patient arrived at the clinic with healing abutments on teeth #32, #41, and #37.
  • We discussed the plan to replace the missing anterior teeth with a 3-unit implant-supported bridge.
  • To create a digital impression, we replaced the healing abutments with scan bodies.
  • Due to the patient's limited mouth opening, we decided to divide the restorative work into two separate lab orders: the first for the anterior teeth's implant-supported bridge and the second for an implant crown in the #37 area.
  • After completing an intraoral scan, we re-inserted the healing abutments.

Appointment 2:

  • We removed the healing abutments and placed the implant abutments.
  • We thoroughly checked the occlusion, contacts, and contour of the abutments.
  • The abutments were then cemented using resin cement.
  • The patient received oral hygiene instructions and a follow-up appointment was scheduled.
