- This is a 10-year-old female patient with mixed dentition and Class II malocclusion.
- The examinations show a skeletal Class II sagittal relationship, retrusion of the maxillary incisors, increased overjet, and deep bite.
- In the first stage, 12 sets of aligners were used for alignment and leveling of dentition to prepare for mandibular advancement.
- The 13th-42nd sets of aligners effectively guided the mandibular advancement, which solved the problem of mandibular retraction.
- In the second stage, class II elastics were used to maintain the molar relationship.
- Class I molar relationship was successfully established, and the normal OBOJ was obtained in the anterior teeth.
